Abijeet Chemakura

Abijeet Chemakura is an experienced Actuarial Analyst currently working at St. James’s Place since March 2023, having previously held the same position at Aviva from September 2022 to February 2023, where responsibilities included producing management information, testing new modeling tools, and documenting meetings. Abijeet gained valuable experience as a Research Intern at Pradhi.ai from November 2020 to May 2021, focusing on research and data analysis within the FinTech sector, and also completed a Summer Internship at Karvy Stock Broking in 2019, which involved managing demographic data and generating insights for a national survey. Abijeet's academic background includes a Master's degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Southampton and a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, alongside a Bachelor of Mathematics from St. Xavier's College. Abijeet is currently pursuing further education with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries until 2027.
