Seleem Badawy

Undergraduate Researcher at Stanford Medicine

Seleem Badawy is an accomplished undergraduate researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine and has been actively involved in various research projects at the University of Calgary since July 2019, focusing on breast cancer and aortic aneurysms. Badawy's expertise includes optimizing bioreactor models, conducting data analysis, and utilizing advanced biological techniques. As a fellow at HaloHealth and fund manager for the UCeed Haskayne Student Fund, Badawy supports early-stage healthcare startups. Badawy co-founded Project SciCorp, facilitating workshops on entrepreneurship for youth, and has participated in the Amgen Scholars Program at the University of Toronto. Badawy holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary, alongside a minor in Digital Engineering.
