Cindy Chan

Cindy Chan, PharmD, MHI, currently serves as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior experience includes a role as a Masonic Cancer Clinic Pharmacy Intern at Fairview Health Services, where Cindy collaborated on the publication of review papers and provided direct patient care in oncology. Cindy also interned with Surescripts, conducting evidence reviews for therapeutic alternatives, and worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota analyzing pharmacy claims data. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master of Health Informatics from the University of Minnesota, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. Additional roles involved research and teaching positions at UC Berkeley, emphasizing laboratory instruction and mentorship.
