Paramvir Sahota is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Chief Medical Executive for the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation since July 2012 and Chief Medical Officer for the State of California since January 2005, Paramvir has demonstrated a strong commitment to healthcare management. Additionally, Paramvir has worked as an Emergency Room Physician for the VA Healthcare System since March 2008. Between July 2005 and March 2013, Paramvir was the owner of California Internal Medicine Associates, also known as Foothills Internal Medicine. Educational qualifications include an MBA from California State University-Sacramento and Internal Medicine residency training from the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
