Wes Mackinnon

Wesley MacKinnon is an accomplished political professional with extensive experience in governmental and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as a Political Assistant at Stateside Associates since July 2023, Wesley previously interned in the United States Senate for Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Wesley held prominent roles at the Georgetown International Relations Association, Inc., including Chief Financial Officer and Director-General of the North American Invitational Model United Nations, where significant contributions included overseeing a large team and developing comprehensive conference materials. A Georgetown University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, Wesley has demonstrated skills in research, strategic communications, and team leadership through various internships, including positions at Bracewell LLP, The Wilson Center, and Jeanne Shaheen for Senate, among others.
