Shrena Sribalan currently serves as the HDSB Student Trustee for the Halton District School Board, representing over 67,000 students and advocating for important issues such as AI integration in education. As Chair of the HDSB Student Senate, Shrena has successfully led initiatives to raise funds for low-income students and organized record-breaking student elections. In addition to this role, Shrena is the Associate Vice President of Public Education for OSTA-AECO, where advocacy work includes menstrual equity resources in schools. Shrena also leads a team at Tech Under Twenty, providing youth opportunities in tech and entrepreneurship, and coordinates workshops for HOSA Canada, Canada's largest health science competition. An active community leader, Shrena has organized various initiatives through the Town of Milton and has participated in significant research roles at the University of Toronto. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science, Shrena's educational background includes the International Baccalaureate program and research fellowships focused on advanced scientific topics.
