Gijs van der Togt is a seasoned strategist and business developer currently serving as a Senior (Social) Strategist at Springbok Agency since December 2023, where strategic support is provided across various teams and clients. Gijs has been a board member at Stichting Reclame Code since November 2020 and has recent experience as a Senior (Social) Strategist for NOWATCH and as a Social Strategy Consultant for Wayne Parker Kent. Previously, Gijs held the position of Head of Strategy at Blauw Gras, leading a team and shaping the agency's strategic vision. Prior roles include Creative Strategy Lead and Head of MediaCom Beyond Advertising at MediaCom, Digital Strategy & Innovation Director at Weber Shandwick, and various self-employed strategist roles. Gijs began a career in music journalism as the founder of Crazy Birds, a notable music blog in the Netherlands, after earning a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Amsterdam.
