Carlos Tavares Ferreira

Carlos Tavares Ferreira is a seasoned professional in sustainability and environmental management, currently serving as the Sustainability and Quality Director at Stolt Sea Farm since May 2018. Prior roles include Vice-president and President of the Board of Directors at Forest Stewardship Council Portugal, and Environment and Forestry Affairs at SONAE ARAUCO. Carlos Tavares Ferreira also contributed as Chairman of the Environmental Working Group for the European Panel Federation and held managerial positions at SONAE INDÚSTRIA. Additional experience includes serving as Liaison Delegate for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and managing the Project and Construction Department at DPM. Carlos Tavares Ferreira holds an Executive MBA in Management from Porto Business School and an Engineer’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
