Elana Fishbein

Elana Fishbein is an experienced improvisation faculty member at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts since October 2022, and has been an improv instructor and performer at The Magnet Theater since 2005, where roles include performer, director of the youth program, and facilitator of improv and team-building workshops for various organizations. As an actor with Story Pirates since 2007, Elana also contributes as a voice actor for their podcast. Additionally, Elana has worked as a camera operator and editor for Merelis Productions since 2004, and served as a performance coach for on-camera athletes at Hydrow, Inc. from August 2021 to January 2023. Previous experience includes writing and voice acting for The Truth Podcast from 2013 to 2015, and serving as a full-time substitute teacher at The Packer Collegiate Institute from 2007 to 2014, facilitating lessons across various subjects. Elana holds a Master of Arts in Educational Theater from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from Vassar College.
