Sofie Söderström

Sofie Söderström has worked in various roles throughout their career. Sofie is currently a Senior Tech Talent Acquisition Partner at Storytel, where they are responsible for developing strategies and projects related to tech recruitment. Their role includes hands-on recruitment as well as project management in areas such as resource planning, onboarding, employer branding, and international growth.

Before joining Storytel, Sofie worked at Typeform as a Senior Tech and Data Talent Acquisition specialist. In this role, they managed end-to-end hiring processes for tech and data roles, collaborating with hiring managers to find the best talent in the industry. Sofie also served as the main point of contact for in-house referrals.

Prior to that, Sofie held multiple roles at Academic Work. As a Recruitment Consultant and Manager of Staffing & Recruitment Assistants, they were responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating team members. Sofie also provided training and created development opportunities for their team. Additionally, they served as a Consultant Manager, responsible for financial and business recruitment, managing consultants and organizing events.

Earlier in their career, Sofie worked as an Accommodation Manager at EF Education First, where they were involved in host family recruitment and support. Sofie also worked in various roles at If P&C Insurance, EF Education First, and H&M, gaining experience in claim adjusting, insurance consulting, customer service, and sales.

Sofie Söderström completed their Bachelor's degree in sustainable development at Halmstad University from 2010 to 2013. In 2012, they also took part in a semester abroad program at Edinburgh Napier University, focusing on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration. Later, from 2013 to 2014, Sofie pursued further studies in business administration at the University of Gothenburg, with a concentration in business and economics.
