Andy Pernal

Andy is Chief Executive Officer of Strad, and served as a director on the Board until April 2020. Andy is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba.

Prior to joining Strad in 2006, Andy spent twelve years in the cable television, broadcasting and telecommunications industries serving in various senior financial roles. Prior to his industry experience, Andy spent nine years in public accounting, primarily with Deloitte in Winnipeg.

Andy has also been involved with various community and charitable organizations in Calgary and Winnipeg. Currently, Andy is on the board and Finance Chair of Clearwater Academy in Calgary and has spent numerous winters and summers coaching and organizing teams at Trails West Hockey Association, Springbank Hockey Association, and Cal West Little League. In Winnipeg, Andy volunteered for numerous positions in coaching and organizing minor sports as well as board positions with Christ the King School, Western Canada Aviation Museum, and the Cerebral Palsy Association of Manitoba.
