Vijayashree Achar

Vijayashree Achar has extensive work experience in the field of research and science. Vijayashree began their career as a Research Trainee at AstraZeneca in March 1999 and continued in that role until December 2001. From December 2001 to December 2004, they worked as an Assistant Research Scientist I. Vijayashree then advanced to the position of Assistant Research Scientist II from January 2005 to September 2009. From October 2009 to December 2013, they served as an Associate Research Scientist I, and from January 2014 to June 2014, they held the role of Associate Research Scientist II, all at AstraZeneca. Following their time at AstraZeneca, they joined Strand Life Sciences in July 2014 as a Senior Scientist, a position they currently hold.

Vijayashree Achar holds an MSc in Biotechnology from Kuvempu University. In April 2023, they also obtained a certification in Biospecimen Research Methods from edX.
