Tom McCann

Tom McCann is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in technical operations and management. As Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Technology at Strategic Micro Systems since June 2013, Tom has successfully collaborated with and mentored technical staff while designing employee growth plans to enhance competency and goal achievement. Previously, as Director of Technical Services, Tom oversaw operations for over 100 clients, managing a team of 12 technicians and aligning operational budgets with business objectives. Tom's earlier roles include Director of Operations at Alpha Technology Group, where effective team management and problem-solving were key responsibilities. Tom's career trajectory began with positions in desktop support and network engineering at Schering-Plough Research Institute and Vonage, respectively. Tom holds an education from DeVry University.
