Steve Oberndorfer

Steve Oberndorfer has extensive work experience in the military and construction industry. Steve began their career in 2012 as a SFODA Operations/Team Sergeant with the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) in Fort Bragg, NC. Steve managed planning, training, and execution of Special Forces core tasks until October 2014.

In 2014, Steve joined the 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) in Fort Bragg, NC as a Program Manager. Steve led a team of 48 personnel managing seven training programs for over 2,200 soldiers enrolled in the Special Forces Qualification Course until July 2015. Steve then became an Operations Manager, managing the daily activities of a Special Operations Training Battalion. Steve was responsible for over 2,500 Special Forces Qualification Course students and military personnel until June 2017.

Steve returned to the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) in 2017 as a Senior Program Manager. In this role, they led an 88-member Special Forces unit responsible for operations support until June 2018. Steve then became a Senior Operations Manager, leading a 20-member operations section managing daily activities, current operations, and future operations until September 2019. Steve currently holds the position of Senior Division Manager, overseeing programs for individual training, team collective training, and personnel administration of a 229-member Special Forces organization in Strategic Solutions Unlimited, Inc. since February 2023.

Steve Oberndorfer has a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis from Norwich University, which they obtained in 2019. Steve has also completed the JSOFSEA program at the Joint Special Operations University and the Sergeants Major Course at The NCO Leadership Center of Excellence and Sergeants Major Academy. In addition to their educational qualifications, Steve has obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2022.
