Matthew Hoover

Matthew Hoover has a diverse work experience in various industries. Matthew currently works at Stripe as the Head of Security Ops, a role they started in October 2021. Prior to this, they were the Head of Supply Chain at Stripe from January 2019 to October 2021.

Before joining Stripe, Matthew worked at Nike, where they held multiple roles. Matthew was the Director of Supply Chain Performance Management from November 2017 to January 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Planning Director from August 2016 to November 2017 and as the Planning Process Manager from October 2014 to August 2016.

Matthew also has experience working at Apple as a Supply-Demand Manager from October 2013 to September 2014 and as a Supply-Demand Planner from July 2010 to September 2013.

Matthew began their career at Innovations for Poverty Action as a Project Coordinator in Ghana from June 2007 to June 2009. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Brookings Institution from November 2005 to June 2007.

Matthew's earliest work experience was at Bank of America, where they worked as a Capital Markets Analyst from July 2002 to June 2005.

Matthew Hoover earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Duke University, where they attended from 1998 to 2002. Matthew later pursued a Master of Public Policy degree in International Security and Economic Policy at the University of Maryland from 2005 to 2007. In 2009, Matthew attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
