Theresa Fortillus

Theresa Fortillus is an experienced nonprofit professional currently serving as the National Director of Programs at Strong Women, Strong Girls since October 2023. Previously, Theresa held the role of National Director of Early Career Programs and Program Director for New England at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice from March 2021 to July 2023. Prior to that, Theresa worked as Operations Manager at Brookline Community Foundation in 2019, and held various positions at Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. from 2012 to November 2018, including Operations Manager and Case Manager. Additionally, Theresa served as Learning Center Coordinator at Cambridge Housing Authority in 2010 and Teen Program Coordinator for the City of Cambridge Youth Programs in 2008. Theresa holds a B.S. in Business Management with a Nonprofit Management Concentration from Lesley University and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management & Human Services from Suffolk University.
