Cortez Johnson

Cortez Johnson is an MD candidate at Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine, expected to graduate in May 2025, with a strong background in health and outreach initiatives. Current roles include HIV Testing Counselor at JWCH Institute and Inclusivity and Outreach Chair for Students for a National Health Program. Previous experience includes serving as Immigrant and Migrant Health Coordinator with the American Medical Student Association and Patient Coordinator at National Health Corps. Cortez also held positions as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing and as a Writing Consultant at Vanderbilt University, where Cortez earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Medicine Health and Society and Neuroscience.
