Kara Thayer

Kara Thayer is an experienced Curriculum Specialist currently working at Gradient Learning and Summit Learning, where responsibilities focus on language development. In addition to these roles, Kara has been an English Teacher at Campbell Union High School District since 2012 and an English Teacher and Volunteer Program Coordinator with EF Education First since 2006, teaching English as a Foreign Language and facilitating volunteer opportunities for advanced speakers. Prior to these positions, Kara served as the Curriculum & Professional Development Manager for English Language Development at Summit Public Schools from 2016 to 2019. Kara holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, both from the University of the Pacific.
