Miguel Pais e Sousa

Miguel Pais e Sousa has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Miguel currently holds the position of Vice President - Private Credit, Special Situations and Real Estate at Sun Hung Kai & Co. Limited since May 2022. Previously, they worked at Blantyre Capital Limited as an Investment Executive from March 2021 to December 2021. Prior to that, Miguel worked at Oxy Capital, where they served as Private Equity Vice-President from July 2018 to February 2021, and as a Private Equity Associate from February 2016 to June 2018. Before joining Oxy Capital, they worked at J.P. Morgan as an Analyst in Global Markets and Solutions - Iberia, and as an Intern in Rates Derivatives and Fixed Income - Iberia. Miguel also gained experience as an Analyst at OxyCapital, a private equity company focused on the Portuguese market, and as a Summer Analyst at Inter-Risco Private Equity.

Miguel Pais e Sousa completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance at Imperial College Business School in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a BSc degree in Physics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico from 2010 to 2013. Miguel also obtained another BSc degree in Economics from Catolica-Lisbon School of Economics and Business from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they participated in the Sigmatemática Program at Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto in 2008. Their education journey began at Colégio de Nossa Senhora do Rosário, where they completed their high school education focused on Science and Technology from 1994 to 2008.
