Riaz Hamir

Riaz Hamir is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources at Suncor since June 2005, overseeing Total Rewards Design & Delivery, HR Operational Services, and Enabling HR Technologies. Prior roles include GM of HR Operational Services and Director of HR Transformation at Suncor, as well as HR Management positions focused on both Canadian and US operations. Before joining Suncor, Riaz held the position of Business Development Manager at Brookfield Mobility Solutions, focusing on Western Canada, and worked as a Business Development and Sales Advisor at GE Equipment Management, specializing in modular solutions for the construction industry. Riaz earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus in Marketing from the Haskayne School of Business between 1998 and 2002.
