Michelle Hughes

Michelle Hughes currently serves as a Precious Metals Affiliate at Strategic Wealth Preservation (SWP), an international precious metals dealer based in the Cayman Islands, since October 2023. Hughes has been engaged with the Sunshine Coast Regional District since May 2019, initially as a Records Management Clerk, where foundational knowledge of municipal operations was gained, and now as a Recreation Business Coordinator, focusing on organizational and business strategies to enhance recreational programming. Previous experience includes roles such as Account Director and Production Manager at Kidzsmart Concepts, and Publisher of Prairies North, a magazine highlighting Saskatchewan's landscapes and culture. Additional roles include Sales Coordinator at Credential Financial Strategies Inc. and Publication Director at British Columbia Magazine, where Hughes managed various facets of publication and business operations. Michelle Hughes holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, with a Minor in Management Information Systems, from the University of Ottawa.
