Bruno Sylvain has a long history of work experience in the software development industry. Bruno began their career in 2003 as a Web Developer for Bell Canada. Bruno then moved to Sologlobe in 2004 in the same role. In 2005, they joined Positron as a Software Developer and worked there until 2011. During this time, they were part of a team responsible for developing, maintaining and deploying mission critical software for the public safety area. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Mobile Developer for Absolunet. In 2015, they joined Videotron as a Senior iOS Developer, where they built Videotron's new illico app including video on demand, live TV and remote control of home terminals. Bruno also worked on related R&D projects. In 2009, Bruno co-founded Zikera (later acquired by Microsoft) and served as Senior iOS Developer. Bruno created an intelligent music player that learns user listening habits and organizes music collections into great playlists. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Senior iOS Developer for Xapo. Currently, they are a Senior iOS Developer for Superhuman.
Bruno Sylvain obtained a D.C.S. in Computer Science from Cégep Régional de Lanaudière à Joliette between 2000 and 2002. Bruno then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from École de technologie supérieure between 2002 and 2006. In April 2017, Bruno Sylvain obtained a Machine Learning Certificate from Coursera, and is currently enrolled in a Machine Learning course at Stanford University (Coursera).
