John Chen

John Chen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in motherboard design and system optimization. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Platform Optimization & Design at Supermicro since March 2010, John leads the design of various SuperServer motherboard series. Previously, John held the position of Technical Manager at Wistron Corporation, focusing on blade server electrical engineering and collaborating on feasibility studies and system debugging. John also worked at ASUS as a Channel MB Design Engineer, overseeing desktop motherboard designs, and at VIA Technologies, Inc. as a System RD, where the focus was on debugging AMD Northbridge chipsets. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, obtained between 1998 and 2000.
