Shayan Merchant

Shayan Merchant has diversified work experience in various roles and industries. Shayan co-founded Accutek Inc. in 2017 and has been serving as a co-founder. Prior to this, they co-founded Supertek Scientific, LLC and Galaxy Sourcing, Inc in 2013 and served as the CEO and owner respectively. Shayan also worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from 2010 to 2013, focusing on technology platforms and business processes in the Financial Services and Healthcare industries. Shayan gained experience in the Healthcare industry through a summer associate position at DaVita in 2009 and worked as a Consultant at Jyonan Electric Industrial Co.,LTD in Japan in the same year. Shayan's earlier experiences include working as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from 2004 to 2008, where they primarily worked on revamping technology platforms. Shayan also worked as a Research Programmer at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications from 2002 to 2003 and as an Intern at Alphawire in 2002.

Shayan Merchant completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Corporate Strategy, General Management, and the Strategic Impact of Disruptive Technologies from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics, and Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1999 to 2003. Shayan completed their secondary education at Hinsdale Central High School from 1995 to 1999.
