Nick Bell

Nick began his career in Human Services in 1992, while still a student at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. After graduating with a B.A. in Psychology he continued working as a psychiatric nursing aide at the historic Highland Hospital in Asheville, NC. Over the next 27 years, Nick focused primarily on work with dually diagnosed individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental illnesses. His experience has been broad-based involving many different areas, including substance abuse services. Nick has worked as a Qualified Professional with Assertive Community Treatment Teams, as a Mobile Crisis Community Responder and as a Vocational Specialist with a sober men’s living facility.
