Jesse Perez

Jesse Perez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2023, they began their career as a Software Engineer Fellow at Headstarter, where they underwent extensive training in full-stack development and gained hands-on experience building applications using technologies like React and Node.js/Express. Prior to this, in 2023, Jesse worked as a Machine Learning Trainee at SureStart, where they focused on machine learning algorithms, deep learning models, and ethical AI considerations. Jesse also applied their theoretical understanding to develop practical AI solutions using Python, TensorFlow, and Scikit-Learn. Before entering the tech field, Jesse worked as a Medical Assistant at Perlman Clinic in 2021. From 2017 to 2021, they also worked as a Childcare Worker at YMCA of the USA, providing childcare services. In addition, Jesse has experience as a Mental Health Worker at Alvarado Parkway Institute Behavioral Health System from 2017 to 2018 and as a Film Crew Member at AMC Theatres from 2014 to 2017.

Jesse Perez is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering at Western Governors University, which is expected to be completed in 2024. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from San Diego State University in 2019. In addition to their formal education, Jesse has also obtained certifications in IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice in July 2022, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2023.
