Andrea Berman

Andrea Berman is a seasoned professional in the fields of human factors and user experience, currently serving as Principal Human Factors and UX Analyst at Surgical Information Systems since August 2016. Prior to this role, Andrea held positions at Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. as a Senior-level User Experience/Human Factors Engineer, providing critical support for military helicopter programs, and also worked as an Independent Consultant, offering usability expertise across diverse industries. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Usability Specialist at Starpoint Solutions, where Andrea focused on large-scale web usability evaluations, and as a Human Factors Engineer at Lockheed Martin/NASA, conducting usability evaluations for shuttle and space station systems. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Human Factors Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree in Astrophysics from Tufts University.
