Janice Birch

Janice Birch has extensive experience in education and leadership, currently serving as a Teacher (TTOC) at Surrey Schools since 2018. Previous roles include Past President of Synchro BC from November 2011 to November 2014 and a position on the Nominating & Governance Committee of Synchro Canada from June 2013 to September 2014. Janice has also worked as a tutor and held the Director position at Future Stars, where a summer preschool physical education program was developed and implemented. Additional experience includes serving as a Board member for Olympians BC Association and a Physical & Health Education Specialist at Grace Christian Academy & First Baptist Christian School. Janice holds a Master of Education in Imaginative Education from Simon Fraser University and is currently enrolled in a Professional Development Program in Education, also at Simon Fraser University, with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics in Physical Education from The University of British Columbia.
