Shane Willoughby

Shane Willoughby, CFA, CAIA, is an experienced investment professional specializing in real assets, currently serving as the Senior Investment Officer at SURS since July 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing the real assets investment program and conducting due diligence on new funds. Prior to this role, Shane held the position of Director of Real Estate and Real Assets at Boeing from December 2007 to March 2014, managing the investment program for one of the largest corporate pension plans in the U.S. Additionally, Shane served as a Real Estate Investment Officer at the Teachers' Retirement System of Illinois from June 1997 to December 2007. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield and a Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance from Eastern Illinois University.
