Magnus Olsson Brolin

Magnus Olsson Brolin is an experienced electricity market strategist currently employed at Svenska kraftnät since September 2022. Prior to this role, Magnus held various positions at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden from September 2010 to August 2022, including Director of Electric Power Systems and R&D Portfolio Manager for Energy Markets and Systems, focusing on strategic development of Future Energy Systems. Magnus began a research career at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where roles included researcher in energy systems analysis and PhD student specializing in the management of wind and hydropower in electricity markets. Magnus also worked as a model and software developer at Systecon AB and as a researcher at TFK, with a strong educational background that includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Vehicle Engineering/Operations Research from KTH.
