Rita Barbagallo

Rita Barbagallo has extensive experience in facilities management, human resources, and training across various sectors, primarily within the education and aviation industries. At Swinburne University of Technology, Rita has held multiple leadership roles since July 2011, focusing on the management of facilities and resources for the Faculty of Business & Enterprise, strategic planning, and workforce management. Prior to this, Rita served as an HR Consultant at Foxtel and as a Project Manager at Swinburne University. Rita's career also includes over 20 years at Qantas, where Rita developed training programs, supported high-performance cultures, and managed service delivery procedures. Rita began the professional journey as a Senior Italian Teacher at Salesian College, establishing a strong foundation in education. Rita holds several qualifications, including a Bachelor of Arts and various diplomas in project management and education.
