Randy A.

Randy A. has a solid background in DevOps and system administration. Randy began their career as a System Administrator at SimplyPHP in 2016, where they were responsible for setting up and maintaining Linux installations on servers, patching and configuring servers, and writing shell scripts for system management tasks. In 2017, they transitioned to the role of DevOps Engineer at Dominion Systems Inc, where they focused on automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration on AWS using Terraform. Randy also participated in an on-call rotation. In 2022, Randy joined Disney Streaming as a Site Reliability Engineer, where they configured and managed continuous monitoring and visualized cluster metrics using cloud watch, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana. Randy integrated these tools with Slack and Grafana for team-wide notification and observability. Randy is currently a DevOps Engineer at SWTCH, starting in 2023.

Randy A. has a Bachelor's degree in computer science from Landmark Metropolitan University. Randy also has a diploma from Seneca College.
