Mithu Datta

Mithu Datta, a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), currently serves as the Product Owner for the Geospatial Data Platform at Syngenta since March 2023. Previously, Mithu held the position of Technical Product Manager at Verizon from October 2019 to September 2022, focusing on the evolution of the location technology ecosystem through 5G/MEC and driving the innovation roadmap for digital front ends. Mithu's career also includes roles as Senior Product Manager for Location Intelligence and Product Implementation Manager at Information Builders from February 2010 to September 2019, where a Location Intelligence Product Portfolio was launched. In addition, Mithu worked as a GIS Specialist at Stanford University from October 2007 to February 2010, serving as the technical lead for the Lab of Spatial History and engaging in advanced data visualization projects. Mithu Datta holds an M.A. in Geography with a focus on GIS from Kent State University and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from The University of Burdwan.
