Jared Naude

Jared Naude has extensive work experience in the field of security and cloud technologies. Jared started their career at JN Digital as a Web Developer, where they provided freelance full stack web development and digital marketing services for various businesses. Afterward, they joined Synthesis Software Technologies as a Software Engineer, specializing in security and cryptography. During this role, they worked on projects such as a PIN Reminder Service and a Credit Application System. Currently, Jared is the Head of Security at Synthesis Software Technologies, where they help large organizations adopt cloud technologies securely and oversees various security capabilities. Prior to their current role, they also served as a Senior Cloud Architect, assisting large banks and enterprises in their cloud journeys through architecture, engineering, and operations aligned with industry and AWS best practices.

Jared Naude completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit in the period of 2011 to 2014. Jared then pursued an Honors degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from the same university from 2014 to 2015. Jared has additional certifications in Amazon Web Services, including solutions architect, developer, sysops administrator, security specialist, cloud practitioner, and big data specialty. Jared also holds a Thales nShield Certified Systems Engineer certification obtained in 2016.
