James Darroch

James Darroch began their work experience as a Trainee Design Manager at VINCI in July 2020. In this role, they introduced the use of OpenSpace, 360 cameras, and augmented reality for visual recording and asset validation. James worked closely with both the design and production teams to coordinate construction on-site, allowing him to excel and develop a comprehensive understanding of the concept to completion process. James held this position until July 2021.

Afterward, Darroch joined VINCI again in September 2022, this time as an Assistant Site Supervisor. James drove the construction of a four-story hospital extension, overseeing a team of approximately 80 individuals. James was responsible for managing and coordinating various trades, enforcing site safety standards, delivering toolbox talks, and ensuring that client expectations were met. Darroch remained in this role until April 2023.

Currently, Darroch is an Account Manager at Tactus Group, starting in April 2023. No end date is provided for this role.

James Darroch attended Loughborough University from 2018 to 2022, where they pursued a degree in Architectural Engineering and Design Management with a focus on Construction Engineering.
