Tim Walters

Tim Walters has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Tim started their career as a Networking Specialist/Help Desk technician at Warren Wilson College in 2013. In 2014, they interned with The Walt Disney Company as an Entertainment Technology Intern before joining Truman State University as an IT Helpdesk Technician.

At Truman State University, Tim took on multiple roles, including being a Lead Intern in the Baldwin Auditorium, where they handled loading in/out road shows, ran lights and sound for university events, and trained new hires. Tim also served as a Scene Shop Intern, leading and teaching a team of students in constructing sets and designing lights for main stage shows.

In 2017, Tim joined Walt Disney World as an Entertainment Technician and stayed there until 2021. In this role, they were responsible for operating and maintaining entertainment equipment and systems. Following their time at Disney World, Tim worked as a freelance Lighting Technician and Programmer in NYC, where they worked in Off Broadway theaters and on corporate and live events.

Most recently, Tim joined Smart Monkeys Inc. in 2022 as a Project Engineer, where they were involved in project management and engineering tasks. Tim is currently employed with Tailscale as a Support Engineer.

Tim Walters attended Warren Wilson College from 2013 to 2014, but did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study during that time. Tim went on to Truman State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre/Theater, where they studied from 2014 to 2017.
