Stephen Volpato

Stephen Volpato has a strong background in audit and risk management. Stephen started their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior External Auditor, where they worked with clients in the financial services sector. Stephen then moved on to AMP, where they served as a Senior Internal Auditor, responsible for conducting independent reviews and evaluations of control frameworks. In 2012, Stephen joined Westpac as an Internal Audit Manager, and eventually progressed to become Senior Manager, Group Audit, with a focus on the BT portfolio. Currently, they hold the role of Head of Internal Audit - Distribution and Operations at TAL Australia. Throughout their career, Stephen has consistently promoted the development of strong risk management cultures and provided valuable advice to enhance control frameworks and systems.

Stephen Volpato earned a Bachelor of Business with a focus on Accounting from Western Sydney University, graduating in 2003. Stephen later attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from 2004 to 2006. In 2012, Stephen pursued further education at the International Institute of Technology Australia (IIT) and completed an RG146 Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP).
