Jonan Santiago

Jonan Santiago has extensive experience in the field of network engineering and systems administration. Jonan started their career at Virtual Development Inc. (VDI) in 1998 as a Systems Administrator. In 2000, they moved on to American Datacenter and worked as a Network and Systems Engineer until 2002. From 2003 to 2006, Jonan worked at Callisia Communications as a Network and Systems Engineer.

In 2006, they joined DataPipe as a Network Engineer, where they were responsible for designing and implementing solutions based on customer network requirements. Jonan also played a key role in building, upgrading, migrating, and maintaining network infrastructure for data centers. Additionally, they created software tools to aid in day-to-day network management and ensured compliance with PCI DSS guidelines for clients requiring PCI or change control compliance. Jonan'stenure at DataPipe lasted until 2012.

Jonan then joined Peplink in 2013 as a Network Engineer. In this role, they collaborated with end users and engineering teams to identify, report, and resolve bugs in products. Jonan also provided pre and post-sales support to partners and end users and created entries for the support knowledge base. Jonan worked at Peplink until 2015.

From 2015 to 2018, Jonan worked at Network Guard as a Systems and Network Engineer, although specific details about their responsibilities during this period are not provided.

In 2020, Jonan joined Periscope Analytics as a DevOps Engineer. Jonan held this role until 2021, when they transitioned to their current position as a DevOps Engineer at Taos.

Jonan Santiago attended Rutgers University from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering. In addition to their degree, Jonan has obtained several certifications. In January 2021, they became an Amazon Web Services DevOps Engineer - Professional. Jonan also obtained the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification in November 2021. Further, they obtained the Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration certification in December 2021. Most recently, in December 2021, Jonan became Google Cloud Certified as an Associate Cloud Engineer.
