James Robinson has worked at several companies since 2004. james began their career as an investor at Tory Burch LLC in 2004. In 2009, they became a Founding Board Member and Secretary of the Tory Burch Foundation. In 2011, they became a Seed Investor for Business of Home, which was later sold to Recurrent Ventures. In 2012, they became an Investor and Advisor for Charitybuzz and a Seed Investor for Magisto, which was later sold to Vimeo. In 2013, they became an Investor for 300 Entertainment, which was later sold to Warner Music Group. In 2014, they became a Member of The Explorers Club and Chair of Programming for the Philly Chapter. In 2016, they became an Investor for ZeeMee. In 2017, they became the CEO and Founder of TappTek, a company positioned to be the Global Leader in Draft Beverage Analytics and Consumer Engagement. In 2022, they became a Board Member of The Explorers Club.
James Robinson attended Westtown School prior to enrolling at Georgetown University in 1982. At Georgetown, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory in 1986.
