Rope Access Technician at Tasman Rope Access

Christopher Byrnes is a seasoned professional with diverse experience across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Rope Access Technician at Tasman Rope Access since October 2019, Christopher specializes in iron ore and gold mining shutdowns as a level 2 Rope Access Rigger. Since February 2015, Christopher has also represented Australia as a wingsuit pilot with the Australian Parachute Team, participating in international events and coaching aspiring pilots. Previous roles include working as a Stressor for Australian Post Tensioning, where Christopher contributed to a significant shopping centre upgrade, and multiple positions at Youi Insurance, including Retention Specialist and Sales Team Manager, showcasing strong customer service and team leadership skills. Early career experiences include carpentry with QBUILD and G & K Lawson Construction, and playing and coaching cricket for clubs in Ireland and England. Christopher holds a Certificate 3 in Carpentry/Construction from the Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE and a Senior Certificate from Centenary Heights State High School.
