Open

Open is the current Project Coordinator for Tasty Hut at Tasty Restaurant Group. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer for The Meruelo Group from March 2012 to June 2018, and was responsible for strategic direction and management of three business units: restaurant, manufacturing, and construction. Open lead the organization in the area of best practices, metrics development, human resources and organizational structure. They also integrated with top management to develop plans to expand the brand, strengthen brand loyalty, manage expenses and increase revenues throughout the organization.

From September 2010 to April 2012, Open served as the COO & EVP for Denny's, Inc. and was responsible for the operations, communications, training and global operations support for over 1650 company and franchise restaurants in eight countries, and two US territories. During their time there, they improved company margins, traffic count, guest satisfaction metrics, speed of service and product quality while reducing operating costs.

In January 2006, Open became President of Dunkin' Brands, Inc. and served in that role until December of 2008. As President, they were responsible for leading the company through a successful IPO in 2006 and increasing system-wide sales by over $1 billion in 2007 and 2008.

Open has a Master's in Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Redlands, and an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Miami Dade College.
