Dermot Halpin

Dermot Halpin is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology and travel industries. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Taxwell since December 2022, Dermot leads a major digital tax filing platform that emerged from the merger of Drake Software® and TaxAct®. Additionally, Dermot acts as an Endeavor Global Mentor, contributing to the growth of entrepreneurial ecosystems worldwide since March 2021. Previous roles include Non Executive Director positions at Datalex and Ding.com, and leadership at TripAdvisor, where Dermot was pivotal in scaling the Vacation Rentals division from $20 million to $100 million in revenue. With an MBA from INSEAD and a BEng from University College Dublin, Dermot's career spans significant leadership roles across various companies, including Expedia and Autoquake.
