Reuben K. Verkamp has worked in a variety of roles across multiple companies. Reuben began their career in 2005 as a Planning + Landscape Architecture Intern at Sasaki Associates, Inc., where they worked as part of multidisciplinary teams on site design and construction projects as well as master planning efforts. In 2007, they moved to the HOK Planning Group, Inc. as a Planning + Landscape Architecture Staff, where they acted as a primary contact for consultant coordination and actively participated in project meetings. In 2012, they worked as a Volunteer at Mission Community Market, where they greeted farmers market patrons, accepted donations, and ran EBT/food stamp transactions. Reuben also worked as an Independent Contractor Project Manager at Bionic that same year, managing design, schedule, fees, and billing for multiple planning and design projects. In 2013, they became a Design Manager at Gensler. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Flagship Manager and Shop Manager at Taylor Stitch.
