Jessie Newhouse

Jessie Newhouse is currently a High School Science Teacher at Jefferson County Public Schools, where they teach Biology, Anatomy, and Botany. Outside of teaching, they are also a Business Owner at Anza Botanicals, specializing in custom plant terrarium design. With previous experience at Teach Kentucky, U.S.D.A, SureGene LLC, and University of California-Davis, their background includes roles as a Ambassador, Biological Science Technician, Research Technician, and participation in Plant Molecular Biology research programs. They hold a Ph.D. in Education Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Louisville, among other degrees in Education and Biology-related fields from various universities.
