Joanna Ginsberg started their career in 2012 as an Instructor and Shop Monitor at Philadelphia Woodworks. Joanna then worked as a Community Programs Administrative Coordinator and Teaching Artist at BuildaBridge International from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined NYC Teaching Fellows as a Classroom Apprentice before transitioning to the role of Special Education and Carpentry Teacher at NYC Department of Education, where they worked until 2018. In 2018, Joanna joined Teachable as a Customer Educator and later took on the roles of Customer Care Team Lead and Customer Education Manager. Currently, they are working as an Associate Product Manager at Teachable. Joanna also has freelance experience as a Furniture Designer and Fabricator starting from 2009 until 2014.

Joanna Ginsberg completed their Master of Science (M.S.) in Education from LIU Brooklyn between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Sculpture from Purchase College, SUNY, from 2008 to 2012.
