The Business Development Director in Travel Innovation, helps to shape and accelerate Teague’s offer with an emphasis on the day of travel in aviation. They will partner with leadership to evangelize and elevate Teague’s offering to current and prospective clients at airlines, airline suppliers, airports, and the ecosystems of companies contributing to the day of travel experience. We are looking for a proven business development leader who has strong subject matter expertise creating, managing and executing a business development strategy to identify and grow potential clients and existing client relationships in aviation.
Why We Need This Position
As aviation travel evolves, Teague’s offer continues to expand to add value to the entire day of travel. From the moment a passenger purchases a ticket, to arriving at their destination, Teague designs compelling touchpoints at step of the journey – both in and out of the cabin. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the passenger travel experience and a proven track record in building executive-level relationships, generating leads, and closing new business deals. That’s why we need a highly motivated self-starter like you, whose mission in life is to forge fruitful, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, expand our reach in travel and increase our impact.
Who We’re Looking For
A dynamic, multi-tasking, visionary strategic thinker who’s skilled at making and fostering connections, acquiring new clients, and expanding Teague’s brand. Your primary role is to articulate a long-term vision that emphasizes design for travel, and establish a long and short-range business development strategy, market segmentation, to achieve revenue targets. In this role, you will evangelize Teague’s digital and physical offerings to both current and prospective clients — promoting Teague’s services, working with them to identify meaningful project opportunities and then collaborating with Teague creative, technology, and project management leaders to create competitive project proposals. Energized by the prospect of developing fruitful collaborations and partnerships, you excel at creating connections, building relationships, and finding win solutions that will help new clients attain their objectives. In this role we are looking for a growth-focused hunter as well as someone to foster those relationships through the project lifecycle.
You help set the Teague program and project teams up for client success — able to meet key deadlines, budgets, and goals for each fiscal year — but also feel prepared to blaze new trails and guide it into the future, driving constant improvement and shaping Teague offerings to ensure they remain competitive in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
Finally, you’re endowed with the diplomatic and interpersonal skills of a head of state, able to forge strong relationships with both clients and colleagues from a diverse range of backgrounds, a strong communicator and negotiator, and gifted at balancing competing priorities and interests.
