Lizzie Simmonds Oly

Lizzie Simmonds OLY is an accomplished sports professional with extensive experience in various roles within the sports sector. Currently serving as Chair of the Athletes’ Commission for the British Olympic Association since December 2016, Simmonds also works as a Sports Commentator for Eurosport and is a Team Coach at Leading-Edge-Performance. Additional responsibilities include being a Performance Champion for Vitality Group Inc., a contributing writer for UK Sport, and an Athlete Ambassador for The Mintridge Foundation. Previously, Simmonds held the position of Non Executive Director at The British Athletes Commission and served on the board of Sport Resolutions. Simmonds has a strong educational background, holding a Joint Honours degree in Publishing and Creative Writing from Bath Spa University and various qualifications from Loughborough College and Lincoln Minster School.
