Kevin Smit

Kevin Smit has a diverse work experience. Kevin currently holds the position of Team Lead Sports Partnerships at TeamViewer since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Program Manager - Sports Partnerships at the same company from October 2022 to May 2023.

Kevin also has experience with the European Sponsorship Association (ESA), where they worked as a Course Marker starting from August 2019.

Before that, Kevin was part of the Inaugural Steering Committee at the Sponsorship Professionals Group - NZ and APAC from April 2018 to October 2022.

Prior to joining ASB Bank, Kevin held the role of Sponsorship Executive from July 2017 to June 2018 and Sponsorship Activation Manager from January 2015 to July 2017 at ASB Bank.

Kevin's earlier experience includes working at Conferenz as a Senior Events Manager from September 2005 to December 2014 and as a Digital Content & Marketing Manager from April 2011 to April 2014.

Kevin'scareer started with the Health Economics & HIV/AIDS Research Division, where they served as a Financial Administrative Assistant & Research Assistant from January 2005 to May 2005 and as a Research Assistant from January 2004 to January 2005.

Overall, Kevin has extensive experience in sports partnerships, sponsorship management, events, and research.

Kevin Smit's education history includes obtaining an ESA Diploma in Sponsorship from the European Sponsorship Association in 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a B Bsc degree with majors in Management & Entrepreneurship from the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 2000 to 2004. Kevin completed their high school education at Durban High School, achieving Matriculation with exemption from 1995 to 2000. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn in 2021 and "Shane Snow on Storytelling" from LinkedIn in 2019.
