Alberto Colombo

Alberto Colombo has a diverse work experience. Alberto started working as an Insurance Consultant for Generali Insurance in May 2012. In September 2014, they served as a Liaison Officer for Triumph Group International during the Italian presidency of the European Union. Alberto then worked on their Master's degree thesis project at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia from April 2019 to June 2020, focusing on optimizing semiconductor deposition and gate functionalization for biosensor applications. Currently, they are employed as a Laser System & Process Engineer at Technoprobe since May 2020.

Alberto Colombo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, which they completed from 2011 to 2014. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. At Politecnico di Milano, Alberto continued their education and earned a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from 2018 to 2020. During 2018, they also participated in the Erasmus+ Program at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

In addition to their formal education, Alberto Colombo holds a certification in "Introduction to Quantum Computing" from MIT xPRO, which they obtained in February 2023.
