Payman Salamati

Payman Salamati holds the position of Research Deputy at Sina Trauma and Surgery Research Center, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, since February 2021. Additionally, Payman Salamati has been recognized as a Highly Cited Scientist at Tehran University of Medical Sciences since June 2020, ranking among the top 1% of most cited researchers in the field in Iran according to Essential Science Indicators. As a Senior Collaborator at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington since August 2016, Payman Salamati has also served in various academic roles at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor since May 2002. Furthermore, Payman Salamati was an Adjunct Faculty and Visiting Professor at York University in Toronto, Canada, from July 2017 to July 2018. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the School of Medicine, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, earned between September 1986 and August 1993, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Public Health from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, completed from September 1998 to August 1999.
